Build An Altar - Introduction
Discussion Questions:
1. What is something that stood out to you from the podcast discussion today, or from Sam’s sermon on Sunday?
2. In Romans 12:1-2 we are encouraged to present ourselves a “living sacrifice “. What does that mean? How do we do that?
3. How does the concept of our lives being an altar bring us to the point of more intimacy with God?

Hi Home Groups! Please watch the 25 minute video and then answer the following questions, as the Lord leads you.
1. Has there been a time that you poured your thoughts and feelings out to the Lord as demonstrated in Psalm 102? What can you share about your experience?

2. Notice that in the psalm there came a turning point where he began to praise and extol God. Then he brought up his unchanged situation again in verse 23. How do we deal with our circumstances not immediately changing after prayer and praise (while we wait for God)?
3. The psalmist talked about God’s power, eternal nature and how He would exist even if the walls of Jerusalem fell. How does God’s sovereign and eternal nature relate to us and what we are going through?
